Introducing Fusion Lodge, your home from home in the mountains, exclusively for solo skiers and snowboarders.

Ideally located just outside Tignes Val Claret, the chalet is only a 6–7 minute walk to the ski lifts and pistes or a quick 1-minute ride on the free resort shuttle, which stops just 30 seconds from the door. You can even ski back to the chalet via a scenic cross-country section.

Guests can easily walk into the centre of Tignes Val Claret in just 5 minutes for all bars, restaurants, clubs and shops.

Saturday: Arrival in Tignes

  • Fly into Geneva and be met by our Transfer company Bens Bus - Transfers to resort in coach & minibus

  • Arrive at Fusion Lodge and check into the Chalet with Cold Fusion Chalets. Bedrooms ready from 4pm.

  • Spend the afternoon exploring the village and getting familiar with the amenities.

  • Collect your ski hire and ski pass ay approix 5pm – your in house chalet host will help with this

  • Enjoy a welcome drink and meet your fellow guests and the friendly chalet staff at 7pm

  • Delight in a gourmet dinner prepared by the chalet's chef.

Sunday: First Day on the Slopes

  • Fuel up with a delicious breakfast to prepare for a day of skiing.

  • Gather your gear and head to the slopes of Serre Chevalier, known for its diverse terrain.

  • After an exhilarating day of skiing, return to the chalet for afternoon tea and relaxation.

  • Apres-ski drinks in the local bar

  • Savor a multi-course dinner with wine in the elegant dining area.

Monday: Off-Piste Adventure

  • Explore the challenging off-piste terrain of Tignes.

  • Your chalet can arrange for an experienced guide (optional extra) to accompany you.

  • Return to the chalet for a soothing soak in the indoor swimming pool & sauna

  • Relax in the chalet and let the in house chef take care of prepareing another amazing evening meal.

Tuesday: Full day Skiing

  • Morning to Afternoon: Full-day ski excursion across the expansive Tignes–Val d’Isère area. Carve down legendary runs like La Face or explore off-piste with a guide (optional).

  • Lunch: Mountain lunch at La Fruitière or Tignes Cuisine (not included).

  • Après-Ski: Sunset drinks at Cocorico Tignes.

  • Evening: Chalet massage slot (optional) followed by a cozy dinner and fireside wine tasting.

Wednesday: Mountain Exploration & Chefs Day Off

Morning – Explore at Your Own Pace

  • Chalet Breakfast: Enjoy a relaxed, hearty breakfast in the chalet — freshly brewed coffee, pastries, left out to help yourself to when you wake up...

  • Free Ski Day: Spend the day skiing independently or with new chalet friends. Explore fresh runs in Val Claret or take on a few long descents in Tignes Les Brevières.

  • Lunch on the Mountain (Own Arrangement): Dine at an alpine restaurant of your choice. Try Le Panoramic (on the glacier) or La Taverne des Neiges in Les Boisses.

Afternoon – Wind Down & Refresh

  • 15:30 – Return to Chalet:
    Relax after skiing with tea, fresh cake, and snacks in the lounge.

  • 16:00 – Wellness Hour (Optional):
    Unwind in the chalet’s outdoor hot tub. Book a massage with the in-house therapist if desired.

  • 17:30 – Apéro Time:
    Head to the bar or lounge for pre-dinner drinks with the group. A glass of wine, a beer, or a cocktail to toast the day.

Evening – Chef’s Night Off: Social Dining & Drinks in Town

  • 18:30 – Chalet Transfers to Town:
    Your chalet host organizes a group transfer or walk into Tignes Le Lac or Val Claret.

  • 19:00 – Group Dinner at a Local Restaurant:
    Dine together at a handpicked local favorite — La Ferme des Trois Capucines or L’Armailly in Les Brévières. Enjoy hearty Alpine cuisine: fondue, duck confit, or locally sourced steaks. Solo-friendly seating but group vibes.

  • 21:00 – Après-Dinner Drinks:
    Head to Couloir Bar, Loop Bar, or La Queue de Cochon for drinks, live music, or just relaxed fireside conversation.

  • 22:30 – Return to Chalet:
    Optional early return or stay out later with the crew. Hosts help organize buses, taxis or pickups as needed.

Thursday: Ski, Ski, Ski

  • Morning to Afternoon: Solo ski day or ski with new chalet friends. Explore your favorite spots one more time — from the Glacier du Grand Motte to the hidden gems of Tignes Les Brevières.

  • Optional: Book a professional photoshoot on the slopes to capture your solo adventure.

  • Evening: Farewell dinner — 4 courses, paired wines, and a celebratory toast with your chalet crew.

Friday: Last day of Skiing

  • Rise early to make the most of your final full day on the slopes. Spend the day exploring the expansive Tignes-Val d'Isère Ski Area, taking in all it has to offer.

  • Break for lunch at a charming mountain restaurant and indulge in alpine specialties.

  • Continue your adventure in the afternoon, maximizing your skiing and snowboarding experience.

  • Afterward, enjoy some après-ski drinks to celebrate a fantastic last day skkiing, great chalet week and new found friends.

  • Return to the chalet for a delightful farewell dinner and final evening of drinks.

Saturday: Departure day

  • Enjoy breakfast on your last day.

  • Say farewell to your fellow skiers and the dedicated chalet staff.

  • Check out and depart from Serre Chevalier with cherished memories of your solo ski holiday at Chalet Tignes.

  • The in house staff will help you get on your departure transfer back to Turin airport.

FAQ's

Will I have to share a bedroom?

We offer double en-suite bedrooms for sole occupancy and also twin bedrooms for two people to share.  We allocate room-share based on gender and age-range.

What the difference between a standard twin bedroom and a premium twin bedroom?

The Premium Twin bedrooms are more spacious and include a small seating area with a sofa and TV. Additionally, the two top-floor Premium rooms feature a balcony.

The Premium Twin on the ground floor is a large one-bedroom apartment, offering two double beds, a large bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe, plus a sofa and kitchenette.

The Standard Twin rooms are standard size, with two single beds and en-suite facilities.

If I choose the shared accommodation and the chalet is not at full capacity, will I be responsible for the cost of the additional bed in my twin bedroom?

No, if you opt for a shared bedroom, Cold Fusion will pair you with another guest for sharing. In cases where the chalet isn't fully occupied, there won't be any single supplement fee.

Whats different about Cold Fusion Chalets compared to other shared chalets?

First and foremost, we exclusively provide ski holidays for adults, ensuring there are no children or teenagers in our accommodations. Perhaps of even greater significance, all our guests actively opt to spend their ski holiday with like-minded, sociable individuals who value the camaraderie and friendly atmosphere.

Is there a single supplement?

No, single skiers and snowboarders are paired in shared rooms, eliminating the need for a single supplement fee. Finally, solo travelers can enjoy their holiday without extra costs!
